Well, its Sunday and im about off to church,and after church i have an anaversery dinner to go to,But after that, IM GONNA ROLL!!!!! you guy's can stay home and rest while i gain a little milage on ya! yea! you do that!!!!!! hahahahahha!!!!!!

Saturday's ride 2/7/09

Man that was a good ride, the wind just killed me especially on the south bound hill's. nothing like a 20mph head wind to suck it out of ya on the hills, the temp was good,45+ and ofcourse we all overdressed! but it was great just to see the road again,now we can start trying to gain back what we lost over winter and maybe it wont take long to be back up to speed!!! joe

In the morning, if you ride over, don't go down the alley, its still covered in snow and ice, go down temple st and stop in front, if you drive over, thats ok, you can park in the back same as usual..joe

Single speed mania

My grandfather rode a single speed. This was right at the end of the high-wheel era. His is one of the early two wheel "safety" bicycles. This might even have been a "fixie", as the freewheel didn't come into common use for another few years. One of his rides was from his home near Washington CH to Columbus and back. About a hundred miles.

Too bad Tulio Campagnolo wasn't born a half a century earlier.
